Ray is
the primary instrumentation specialist for both the Chemsitry and
Biology departments at Youngstown State University. His
responsibilities include the maintenance of various instruments,
including NMR, X-ray, EPR, LC, TEM, GC Raman, mass spec and many
others, as well as the training of individuals in the proper operation
and use of those instruments. In addition Ray has been serving the Ohio
Mass Spectrometry Consortium since 2000 as the lead person for upkeep
of eight Bruker Esquire LC/MS systems that are available for use by
students and faculty across the state.
