At YSU Bill Carpenter earned a BS degree in 1982 with a double major in Math and Computer Science and went on to get an MS (1983) in CS at Ohio State University. After OSU he started his career in Chicago and eventually moved to the Boston Area. In 1994 he received an MA in Mathematics from Boston College. He is currently employed by Dolphin Interconnect Solutions. Dolphin makes high speed interconnects for clustered computer systems.
