The Mathematics Assistance Center [MAC] is an academic support service which is integrated with the Department of Mathematics & Statistics. Its mission is to assist YSU students in the strengthening of the fundamental mathematics skills which are necessary for success in the study of mathematics and to provide resource materials for independent study. |

For some students, the Mathematics Assistance Center provides an opportunity for on-campus employment. To be eligible you must be a full-time student in good academic standing and as a minimum, be enrolled in Math 1572 for the semester in which employment is desired. By working in the MAC you will be earning money to help pay for your education, sharpening your mathematical skills, making new friends, enhancing your resume, etc. Also, student employees are permitted to register for classes before other students. |
