30 September: Public lecture, "Studying Jewish and Islamic Traditions" with Dr. Mustansir Mir and Dr. Helene Sinnreich of the Center for Judaic and Holocaust Studies, special topic Justice, 7:00 PM, open to the public, location TBA.
Mid-October: Academic Conference, "Islam in Scandinavia," focused on issues of integration, change in Scandinavian Islam, and issues between intergenerational Muslims.
3-4 November: Bruce Lawrence of Duke University will give a talk titled "Islam in the Public Square: Minority Perspectives from Africa and Asia." Details coming soon.
