Outside the Classroom

All environmental studies majors must complete a 200-hour internship. Students will work as environmental specialists in industry and government.

Students are also encouraged to become involved in the community through research and service. The Youngstown Environmental Studies Society (YESS), a student organization devoted to environmental issues, provides opportunities for students to become involved.
