Research Plans:
ALL students should prepare a Research Plan that includes permission forms and consent forms.

The rule governing review of science projects that include humans or hazardous materials is at: http://www.ohiosci.org/newrule.htm
Schools will need to form a Review Committee (Teachers, Principal, Counselor, perhaps) to review those projects that fall within these guidelines. The forms for reviewing these projects are Human Subjects forms. The Human Subjects Review and Release Forms and the Human Subjects Informed Consent Forms are combined into a single form located at:

IMPORTANT!
Students must present their work as POSTERS ONLY. This means that apparatus and demonstration as part of the student presentation will not be allowed - students must discuss the work done. Logbooks, photographs, graphs, charts, etc. will be allowed at the poster, however.
