SALEM BOX CITY PROJECT

OBJECTIVES

  1. To provide the students and teachers of the Salem City Schools with a database of images and data for structures in Salem to assist in their use of  the Box City Curriculum.   
  2. Develop a set of instructional materials (PowerPoint) to illustrate architectural features utilizing examples from the local community.
  3. Create a virtual tour of Salem emphasizing historical evolution, economic development, and Salem's place in the larger world.
  4. Use digital technology to enhance the teaching of art to elementary students.
