This material on this site parallels the material on the disk that accompanied Numerical Analysis, Seventh Edition. It is organized as follows:

1.  The Instruction file in this directory explains generally about the programs included on the disk.  To read or print this or any of the other PDF files requires Adobe Acrobat Reader, which can be obtained at

2. The file Student Study Guide contains the first two chapters of the Student Study Guide for Numerical Analysis, Eighth Edition as a PDF file.

3. The directory PROGRAMS contains all of the programs, data, and further readme files for each of the programming languages used.  The Instruction files in each subdirectory are also in pdf format.
