Youngstown State University has an extremely strong undergraduate mathematics program, one that involves its major students in a wide range of activities on and off the campus. A look through the web page for the Mathematics Department will give you an introduction to some of the activities, but it will not really give you an opportunity to find out what the program is like from people who are actually involved in it. Listed below are the names and addresses of some of our undergraduate students and students who have recently graduated from YSU in mathematics. Please feel free to contact them, or, of course, me, if you have any questions regarding our program. We give all of our students close and personal attention in order ensure that their education at Youngstown State prepares them for the many opportunities that are open to students with a strong mathematics education.
This list is far from complete, but I chose students who
have a wide variety of interests. I, of course, have no censorship privileges
in this process, so be brutal in your queries.
