Students considering Honors Calculus often have questions
about the difficulty of the course, the background required, and
value of the course relative to the amount of work that is required. I
would be happy to give you my (rather biased) opinions on these subjects,
but I have found that perspective students often would like to hear the
opinions of students who have actually taken the course. Listed below are
a few of the students who have taken this sequence of classes and have
told me that they would be willing to answer any questions of students
who might be interested in the sequence. The list is far from complete,
but I chose students who are in a wide variety of programs and school.
I, of course, have no censorship privileges in this process, so be brutal
in your queries. We will expect a lot of work from you if you
take this sequence. Convince yourself that it will be worth it.
