English Studies Minor
The English Studies minor is designed to give you a rich mix of courses from across several areas of the field of English. To complete the minor, you must take six courses, as follows (see lists below for offerings):
1. British and American Literature I or II.
2. One upper-division American Literature course.
3. One upper-division British Literature course.
4. One course in other literary studies (including world literature and film).
5 & 6. One course each from any two of the following groups:
Group 1: Language, Writing and Culture.
Group 2: Journalism.
Group 3: Creative Writing.
Group 4: Technical and Professional Communication.
