Harkin's luncheon address was titled "What's Wrong with This Picture?  Teaching English in the Corporate Academy"; Laurence spoke on the future of the English profession; and Shawcross made an eloquent plea entitled "'Works of love or enmity':  Do Not Let Our 'Minor' Poets Disappear!"
