Proposal for Second
Volume of CEA History

Background

When Joe Thomas published Sansculotte: College English Association (1938-1975), that was a unique accomplishment by a stellar CEA member of long standing, diligence, impeccable memory, countless friendships, and contacts within the organization.  I know of no one in CEA who could possibly perform the same task for the years since that book.  As a result, I propose to cover the period from 1976-2000 by a different format.

Proposed Title for Second Volume

The Last Quarter: CEA 1976-2000

There is a history in all men's {and women's} lives,
Figuring the nature of the times deceased . . .
