Monosaccharide NMR examples from the lab

The links below are to to the 400 MHz H NMR spectra for each of the given compounds either as Adobe .pdf files or as the raw FID data that may then be worked up using a program such as MestRe-C. In order to have all the required data for each sample (fid, text, log, procpar), the files are zipped and may be extracted using a utility such as WinZip. The spectra were collected on a Varian Gemini 2000 system and should be worked up using the VarianVXR-Unity option in MestRe-C, which does not require the VHELPER converter.

The Adobe Acrobat files contain H, integrated 1H and expansion plots as well as line lists for coupling constant analysis and ChemDraw structures of each compound. The Acrobat Reader is free from Adobe.

There will also be made available Chime models of each compound, which may be useful in at least a rough analysis of the dihedral angles between protons. The models were built using PC Spartan and may be viewed using the Chime plugin and each model may be saved by using the "right click save as" option on your mouse.
