The Student Affiliates program supports students and their faculty and local section members in their efforts to promote professional development, mentoring, and peer-support mechanisms for undergraduates majoring in the chemical sciences. The Student Affiliates program gives you a professional edge, lets you network with professionals in your field, and provides you with information about scientific meetings and direct access to chemical research. At YSU the Affiliates Section aims to bring together undergraduate students with interests based broadly within Chemistry, which covers pre-Pharmacy, pre-Medicine (and associated disciplines), Forensic Science, and anyone interested in the many branches of Chemistry itself. We hope to bring you into contact with professionals, many who came through YSU, in order that you get some idea of their experiences along the way to becoming a scientific professional.
