elcome to the Youngstown State University Department of History web page. I am Martha Pallante, chair of the department, and I want to take this opportunity to invite each of you to contact me with any questions you might have concerning our site. We take very seriously our commitment to our students and hope to make each one feel at home with us. We are equally dedicated to providing each of our majors with a well rounded general education emphasizing historical study. We offer courses that span the globe as well as the centuries and provide hands-on experiences for our graduates through senior seminars and internship experiences.
