The Department of English is housed in DeBartolo Hall. Available for your use is the Professional Communication Design and Production Center, a specialized computer laboratory that enables you to work on state-of-the-art computers supporting such software packages as Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, Adobe PageMaker and Photoshop, Quark XPress, Microsoft Office and FrontPage, and Macromedia Dreamweaver.

The department’s writing programs are served by nine other computer labs, including a Macintosh lab for the journalism program.

You may use Maag Library’s ever-expanding resources, including more than a million volumes, online computer access to databases and other universities’ holdings, and records and cassettes on a wide variety of literary works.
